Paul and Brad Developing Tangible Interactions by experimenting and exploring different materials, textures, properties and more. Issues such as lighting, textures, weights, sounds and safety was taken into consideration. Being able to let people know if things are on or off, working or not working and conveying this connectivity and interaction in a socially acceptable and universal way.

Design Explorations and Directions
Developing a product that can answer your monotonous daily questions. Utilizing magnets, tape, copper wire, blue tac, pads and mats, heat, invisible transfers and exchanges!!!
Trying to decide on how to make it more interactive.
Has a need to become more a part of the social lifestyle
of someone fed up with asking themselves to contemplate
the same old usual questions like "should i get up today?".
It is all a bit far fetched and crazy but it was the experimentation with different materials and working out how certain textures and objects interact and affect human behaviors. Multiple outcomes were achieved and i feel this was a very productive day in understanding potential materials that will be used for project one in mocking up a rough interactive design or designed interface woo haa!!
Week 2: Tangible Interactions and Experimentation

Brad and I were experimenting with textures and magnets mostly, but also played with batteries, circuits, copper, wires and string, paper, plastics and many more. Main focus was on people and their daily planning/decisions they make over and over again throughout each and every waking day. We tried to make this process easy, coming to a solution of CHANCE and perhaps if a solution to daily conundrums and dilemmas lie with a stroke of chance and luck and perhaps designing a tool to simply have random answers and lucky choices was decided upon for a design direction. Pretty scary and crazy concepts but that is the beauty of Interaction Design.Week 2 Design Explorations and Understandings

Week 2 Lecture and Notes on understanding Users and Needs.- Intuitive Interaction
- Easy to read, understand and or interpret
- Clearly defined design direction
- Activities of touch, smell, sound, taste and sight senses identified and explored further in the workshop experimentation's.
- Keeping up with important social networks, relationships and lifestyles that are ever-changing, evolving and becoming more and more integrated and connected with each other and as a whole.
